Young athlete attends Wheelchair Basketball Camp thanks to support from the James and Grace Anderson Trust

In 2025, the James and Grace Anderson Trust funded participation costs to the Wheelchair Basketball Camp for Charlie Mailer, a young applicant with Cerebral Palsy.

The Camp is supported by Basketballscotland, the governing body for the sport in Scotland. Charlie attended alongside 40 athletes, and benefited amazingly from the training which included on-court drills, skill development, and off-court activities like strategic thinking and teamwork.

Below are a few impressions of Charlie enjoying his time while at the Camp.
