Individuals/Carers - Support Grant

  • The James & Grace Anderson Trust offers Support Grants to people diagnosed with cerebral palsy and those who care for someone diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

    The James & Grace Anderson Trust funds a variety of applications but particularly supports applications seeking to improve the lives of those diagnosed with cerebral palsy through a variety of ways, including equipment, treatments and pastoral support. This can also include support for participation in educational events on the topic of cerebral palsy.

    Individual grants are capped at £1,500

  • Applications should be submitted via the online form, giving full details of the request and the anticipated value.

    If required, the trustees may request a reference in support of the application.

Individual - Research Grant

  • Funding is available for individuals who are working in areas advancing (by investigation, research or otherwise) knowledge with regard to the causes of cerebral palsy and related conditions and, if possible, curing or alleviating the same.

    Research grants are caped at £10,000

  • Applications should be submitted via the online form, giving full details of the research being carried out and the anticipated value.

    A copy of the ethical approval, if granted, should also be included.

    Applicants are also asked to submit their CV.

Organisation

  • The James & Grace Anderson Trust welcomes applications from the following types of organisations whose aims comply with the James and Grace Anderson Trust charitable objects, specifically:

    - Formally constituted and registered charities

    - “not-for-profit” organisation, other than statutory bodies, which are not formally registered as charities.

    All applicant organisations must be able to demonstrate a track record of strong financial and operational management by the provision of audited or independently inspected accounts and annual reports.

    Organisations’ grants are capped at £5,000

  • Applications should be submitted via the online form, giving full details of the organisation’s connection to people with cerebral palsy and the anticipated value of the funding.

    Applicants are asked to submit the organisation’s most recent annual accounts.
