Our story and purpose

The James & Grace Anderson Trust has been operating to best support individuals living with cerebral palsy, and others working in research, treatment and care for the benefit of those with the condition, since 1966.

Trustees: Dr Alastair Murray, Malcolm Rust and Richard Murray.

The James and Grace Anderson Trust exists to promote research into a cure for, or the alleviation of cerebral palsy.

Applying for a grant

Applications are open to individuals with cerebral palsy, individuals carrying out research into a cure for or alleviation of cerebral palsy and organisations who work with people who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Applications are invited all year round from those meeting the eligibility criteria and should be submitted via the online form, available here.

Trustees meet in May and November to consider applications and make awards.

The deadline for the next round of funding is Tuesday 30 April 2024.
